OUR STORY

French Valley started the way many good things do, in the soil, under Northern Michigan skies, with a simple idea: create a place where people can slow down, spread out, and enjoy life together. What began in 2000 as five acres of grapes on a former cherry farm has grown into something more, with wine, small-batch beer, and cider made to bring people together.

Set on 70 acres of vineyard views, orchards, and open space, French Valley feels like Leelanau County’s backyard. Whether you’re here for a quiet afternoon, a spontaneous visit, or a favorite seasonal event, every trip offers something new to enjoy.

No dress code. No reservations. Just room to relax, a glass in hand, and time that doesn’t feel rushed. French Valley is the kind of place that grows with you.

OUR MISSION

At French Valley, we’re Leelanau County’s backyard—open space, local pours, and live music that make it easy to gather and stay awhile. No pressure, no pretense—just great flavors, good company, and room to roam.

OUR VISION

To be the region’s most loved gathering place—where open land invites you to stay, live music brings you back, and every visit feels fresh yet familiar. A backyard that feels like yours: no pressure, no pretense—just Northern Michigan magic.
